Introductory Profile:
Since 1998, Rick Bennett has undertaken continuing research investigating online collaborative creativity (OCC) between distanced artists, designers and theorists worldwide. Having established numerous online and global creative projects through a succession of research grants, COFA is now a leading player in online visual communication practice and theory research. The Creative Waves project (2005), co-produced with Vince Dziekan (Monash University) saw the first of an ongoing series of global online research projects, hosted by COFA in association with Icograda: the world’s governing body for graphic designers.
