Introductory Profile:
Karina Clarke is currently undertaking research into the development of homewares and how collaboration between designer, manufacturer and user can be central to the development of an object for small scale production. The research also includes the social, cultural and environmental factors contributing to the success of design innovation and entrepreneurship. This research includes developing a project between COFA UNSW and Milan Politechnic, exploring design driven innovation for small to medium scale enterprises, fostering a cultural, educational and economic exchange between the EU and Australia.
