Introductory Profile:
Ian McArthur’s professional interests and design practice are in the area of cross-cultural design management. The focus of Ian's research interest is on the potential of collaboration in design practice and design education for an increasingly global design paradigm. In 2003/2004 he initiated the COLLABOR8 Project with UK based photographer Annie Morrad to foster multidisciplinary projects between design education programs in different institutions, and specifically across different cultures.
