Introductory Profile:
A masters degree from Concordia University, Montreal, in multi media, has paved the way for ongoing cross disciplinary investigations that explore the relationship between civilian and military cultures. Ian’s research has involved working at numerous and varied sites around the world; the Berlin Wall, the ancient walls of Derry in Northern Ireland, the Great Wall of China, the Pentagon, Australian, European and US military bases etc. He is currently working directly with the People’s Liberation Army of China exploring the interrelationship roles of objects, actions, images, place and time.
