Introductory Profile:

Dennis Del Favero is currently an ARC Queen Elizabeth II Fellow, Visiting Professorial Fellow at ZKM, Germany, Visiting Professor at IUAV University of Venice, Italy and Visiting Associate Professor at City University Hong Kong. Dennis has held numerous solo exhibitions including at the Sprengel Museum Hannover, ViaFarini, Milan and Neue Galerie, Graz. He has participated in group exhibitions including Kriegszustand, Battle of the Nations War Memorial, Leipzig (joint project with Jenny Holzer), 1996, Videonale, Kunstmuseum Bonn, 2005, Biennial of Australian Art and Biennial of Seville, 2008. He is currently engaged in new media research dealing with questions of interdependence between human and natural systems, video research dealing with questions of trauma and memory and photographic research dealing with questions of recollection and phantasy.
