Anna Munster's current research focuses on developments in theory and art in a 'post-digital' culture. We can now take it for granted that computing is ubiquitous and that most contemporary artists use aspects of computer technologies in their work processes. Hence we are not dealing so much with digital or computer-based art per se but with artists more generally working with and confronting information culture. Anna concentrates on two strands developing in this environment: artists working with biotechnologies and bioinformatics and artists using wireless, mobile and distributed technologies.
