Digital Studio - F115

The Digital Media Lab provides facilities for interactive design, sound, video, digtal imaging, 3D modelling and animation. Access to this laboratory is available to students of the College who are enrolled in formal computing programs courses. 24 x 7 hour access is automatically available to all postgraduate Master of Digital Media students. Digital Studio - F115

This lab consists of 21 workstations including one demonstration computer attached to a data projector. All computers in this lab are PM G5 Towers with 2GB RAM, superdrives, and 17" Sony flatscreen monitors. In addition to this each computer is fitted with a ProTools Mbox for digital audio production.

All computers in this lab are connected to the COFA network via fast ethernet (100mbps). This network connection provides for quick access to email and internet services as well as quick access to the COFA colour printers and the student file server.
