The College is committed to providing a safe environment for visiting parties such as school excursions to the Faculty.
We strongly encourage teachers in charge of school excursions to make us aware in advance of any
issues that could impact on student welfare while at COFA. It is expected that visiting teachers
will keep students under direct supervision at all times.
The College is located at the Corner of Oxford Street and Greens Road Paddington.
Chartered buses
Drop off groups on Greens Road, Paddington.
State Transit Authority buses
Many buses run along Oxford Street Route 378 stops outside the College
Train
Central Station is the closest railway station to the College. It is a 15 minute walk
from the station to the College
Teachers should keep students adequately supervised at all times. Students should be
reminded:
not to run
to keep near handrails and take care while using stairs or ramps
to remain behind safety barriers and yellow lines
not to touch any objects or electrical equipment.
Toilets
Toilets are located next to café on the ground level of D block, All levels of F
block and the basement level of A Block.
Food and beverage
These are available at the Café on the ground level of D block
Fire exits and evacuation
The College has clearly marked fire exits, complies with all FireControl regulations and has
emergency evacuation procedures in place.
First aid
Staff with formal first aid training are available to provide first aid assistance.
Disabled Access
All Galleries on Campus have disabled access, However not all areas of the campus
have wheelchair access. Disabled toilets are located on the ground floor of E block and the ground
floor of A block.
Public liability insurance
The University has the appropriate Public liability Insurance in place to cover injury and
damage.
