Induction forms
It is important that all staff, students, visitors and contractors at COFA receive a safety
induction before they begin work on campus to ensure

They are aware of any hazards they might encounter when working or visiting on campus

They are aware of emergency procedures

They are able to complete their work safely without harming themselves or others

They know how to report hazards and accidents

They are aware of safety procedures and policies.
- They are aware of their OH&S responsibilities
Inductions should be given by the person who is supervising any staff, students, visitors and
contractors. Students and staff should be given safety inductions before using any equipment,
machinery, tools or any potentially harmful substances and they should be provided with infomation
about how to report accidents and emergency procedures.
