UNSW Research Services

UNSW Research Services facilitates the research efforts of UNSW staff by assisting with applications for grants and fellowships and the administration of externally awarded funds. The Office also contains the Ethics Secretariat and the Office of Research Training.

The Australian Research Council (ARC)

The Australian Research Council provides funding to researchers through the National Competitive Grants Program. The UNSW Research Office can assist you in writing and submitting an application but you can also find information about the various Discovery and Linkage programs on the ARC website.

Australia Council For the Arts

The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body. A variety of resources and information about the arts, including funding opportunities, are available on their website.

National Association for the Visual Arts

The National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) reports on issues affecting artists and the arts. It covers a broad range of topics from censorship to copyright, exhibitions and prizes, funding and policy.

Faculty Research Grants (FRG) and Early Career Research (ECR) grants

The College of Fine Arts and UNSW supports the research activities of early career researchers and established researchers through the FRG and ECR grant programs.  More information can be found in the Guidelines.
