Art Education students installing artworks
"Drawn Out" is a exhibition selected from the first year foundation studio art education
classes. All first year art education students complete SART1401 which gives them a
fundamental understanding of the drawing process which they explore through objects, the figure,
colour and space. The show represents knowledge gained though lectures, work in the studio
and exploration in the field. A small range of work drawn from the diverse conceptual
ideas and possibilities studied is included in the show. The collective experience
represented by the exhibitors, the exhibition concept and physical realization of the event traces
an immersion in the learning process enhancing the experience of all.
The exhibition will be opened by Norman Hetherington at 6.00pm on Tuesday 10 August.
