The 2009 COFA Spring Fair is a big day out for anyone keen on art, design and digital media.
The College of Fine Arts campus is transformed into a festival of creativity complete with
live music, exhibitions, tasty treats, bustling markets and multiple opportunities to find out what
this inner-city art and design school is all about.
COFA’s art and design market is the vibrant heart of Spring Fair.
Don’t miss this amazing chance to pick up original and affordable artworks or unique gifts
handmade by COFA’s talented students. Our energetic marketplace features more than 75 stalls
selling paintings, ceramics jewellery, gift cards, T-shirts and much more!
Four stunning exhibitons showcase both professional and student talent. And artists are on
hand to talk about their work.

Watch demonstrations by artists and designers getting busy in a variety of media including:
jewellery, ceramics, painting, printmaking, textiles and 3D animation.
Demo highlights include:
3D animation demonstration by William Burdis who was part of the Academy Award winning team
which animated “Happy Feet”.
Master ceramicist Paul Davis will demonstrate his skill with clay.
Michael Kempson and COFA’s Cicada Press transform the artwork of well known Aussie painters
into fine art prints. These limited editon artworks will be available for sale.
