The Society for Responsible Design, SDR, is a membership-based, volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation of designers, academics and people who appreciate the significant role design plays in creating a sustainable future. Based in Sydney, with members across Australia, SRD has a proud history as a developer and incubator of sustainable ideas spread through exhibitions, websites, publications and events. In 1995, SRD became one of the first organisations to hold sustainable design, art and lifestyle exhibitions. SDR has been hosting and presenting the annual SRD ChangeX graduate sustainable design exhibition since 2003.
