SRD ChangeX is an annual exhibition of graduate design and ideas that address issues of
sustainability, environmental change, social equity and community responsibility. Students are
invited to exhibit, and are selected from a diverse range of areas, including industrial design,
graphics, architecture, textiles, planning, landscape design and more. This year SDR CahngeX08 has
invited recent COFA graduates and students Selena Griffith, Meagan Curry, Carly Notara, Aaron Goh, Wee Hiok,
Tegan Fife and Anna Lise de Lorenzo.
The Society for Responsible Design, SDR, is a membership-based, volunteer run, not-for-profit
organisation of designers, academics and people who appreciate the significant role design plays in
creating a sustainable future. Based in Sydney, with members across Australia, SRD has a proud
history as a developer and incubator of sustainable ideas spread through exhibitions, websites,
publications and events. In 1995, SRD became one of the first organisations to hold sustainable
design, art and lifestyle exhibitions. SDR has been hosting and presenting the annual SRD ChangeX
graduate sustainable design exhibition since 2003.
SRD ChangeX08 will run from 15-17 August at Australian Technology Park, Sydney.
