Tom Polo, Why Don't You Love Me? 2008 acrylic on board, 122 x 92cm.

COFA graduate, Tom Polo, is exhibiting his recent works at Sullivan & Strumpf Fine Art Gallery along side Emily Portmann, Laith McGregor, & Jackson Slattery. The exhibition currently on at Sullivan and Strumpf Fine Art present new works from four dynamic emerging artists all aged under 35.

Polo's recent work addresses contemporary society’s inherent desire to be ‘the best’ and explores what it means to be a ‘winner’ and by association, what it means to be a ‘loser’. Referencing both mundane and spectacular achievements in life, the work encourages the viewer to reflect on their own experiences of success and failure.

Tom Polo graduated from COFA in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) with Honours.
