The Master of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design is a fully online postgraduate coursework
degree. The online nature of the program allows flexibility to study at times that suit a busy
lifestyle. It offers you the opportunity to experience, better understand and work within a range
of creative disciplines, to enhance and strengthen your own creative process and practice.
You will experience online study with students from different creative backgrounds,
professional experiences, locations and cultures. The program will explore theoretical and
practical connections between a wide range of creative disciplines, offering you valuable
individual and collaborative skills and knowledge in line with contemporary cross-disciplinary
creative art and design practice.
Students can also apply for the Graduate Diploma (two semesters full-time) or Graduate
Certificate (one semester full-time).
The aims of the program are to:

The Master of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design is a flexible professional development degree,
highly appropriate for those:

cross-disciplinary capabilities and knowledge
The program also aims to improve your value to an employer in any creative industry by providing collaboration and communication skills, essential in contemporary cross-disciplinary creative practice.
Applicants to the Master of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design should have a completed, recognised Bachelor degree with performance at credit average, or completion of the Graduate Diploma in Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design.
In exceptional cases, applicants who submit evidence of other academic and professional
qualifications may be considered for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Cross-Disciplinary
Art and Design. These applicants must submit a portfolio of their artwork.
Students who enter the Graduate Certificate in Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design can request an
upgrade to the Graduate Diploma on completion of the Graduate Certificate program requirements.
Portfolio submission should include approximately twelve images (on a DVD/CD or hardcopy) of
recent work.
