Program Details

A PhD in Design Studies may include a studio/exhibition component, subject to approval. Major research areas in this field are: architecture, landscape and urban design; ceramics; Asian art/craft/design and cultural history; design and gender studies; design and technology; design history and theory; design management; human computer interaction; interactive media; jewellery; object design; online design education; textiles; theatre design; and visual communication.
