UniMail is the UNSW Central Electronic Mail System, provided and supported by UNSW IT Services.  UniMail is provided free to all current UNSW students for as long as you remain a student at UNSW.  A UniMail account is created automatically on enrolment, and is assigned a default address based on your Student ID number (eg. z1234567@student.unsw.edu.au).

UniMail is your personal UNSW email.  All official University correspondence will be sent to this address.  For example, notices re release of results, enrolment start dates, cancellation of classes, etc are sent to your University email account.  It is highly essential that you check it regularly.
