Your UniPass is a 'universal password' for all online services at UNSW and when used in
conjunction with your UNSW UserID you can electronically verify your identity. Your UniPass can be
used to: access UNSW online services such as UniMail, UDUS, myUNSW, WebCT and the UNSW Library's
Electronic Resources. New students create their UniPass at the acceptance stage of the enrolment
process. (If you have been a student at UNSW in the past your existing UniPass should be valid).
If you lose or forget your UniPass, you can only obtain a replacement UniPass in person from
the following places:

As a COFA student, you have access to a range of COFA provided online services. These services
usually require access via your COFApass. Follow the link below to the COFA student portal to
create, change or reset your COFApass. You will need your UNIpass to access this portal. Please
note that you will not be able to login unless you have agreed to the UNSW Conditions of Use.
Please visit the Computing Services Unit section for more information.
Please remember that you use the COFApass for most COFA provided online services but the UniPass is for access to UNSW services such as myUNSW, UniMail and WebCT.
