COFA Flat | The College of Fine Arts
Located on campus, this small one bedroom, 2 level apartment is available to visiting artists and
scholars who require accommodation in Sydney. The flat contains a small kitchen and bathroom and a
small working area with a desk which is not suitable as a studio. The bedroom contains a double bed
and is located on the upper level. Access to the Flat is only by a spiral staircase.
Applicants need to be nominated by a COFA staff member and are expected to make direct
contributions to the research community at COFA.
The Application should describe a research project or activity of some relevance and
significance to COFA or a particular School or unit within COFA.
It is advisable to first check whether the Flat is available for the period sought. To do so
go to the COFA Flat Calendar which is published on iCal. This calendar shows all tentative and
confirmed bookings. the Calendar can be found on this address:

Applications should be submitted to the Dean's Office, "B" Block, College of Fine Arts,
Greens Road Paddington NSW 2021. The fee for the Flat is $70 per week ($10 per day) and is to be
paid by the nominating School/Unit. If visits are less than 2 days, a $ 20 cleaning fee will apply.
