Drawing is a common language which supports many disciplines at COFA and forms the basis of visual awareness.  Emerging technologies have increased the options available to creative practitioners and at COFA this includes the exploration and manipulation of graphic media via the computer. Paradoxically, new technology demands a thorough understanding of drawing strategies, the graphic sensibility and a consolidation of the vocabulary of drawing.

At COFA the aim is to provide a dynamic studio environment encouraging the pursuit of drawing excellence.
The discipline of drawing is placed in an historical and theoretical context in order to relate contemporary drawing practice to  broader cultural expression.

Drawing at COFA can be studied at these levels:

  • Undergraduate
  • Post Graduate
