COFA staff are experts in their fields

  • Digital Media: William Burdis is an Emmy award winning animator for his work on Dinotopia. He also worked on Happy Feet, Walking with Beasts, Troy, Alice in Wonderland and Harry Potter.
  • Art Theory & Art Education: Felicity Fenner, a senior curator at COFA, was an official Australian curator at the 2009 Venice Biennale.
  • Fine Art: Paula Dawson is a world leader in the area of holography. She has worked with NASA to create the world’s largest hologram.
  • Design: Liz Williamson has been given the prestigious title ˜Living Treasure˜ by a joint initiative of Sydney’s Object Gallery: Australian Centre for Craft and Design, and Craft Australia.
